Mokhtar Hakim, one of the youngest Tanoura and folklore dancer, he started his life as a Tanoura dancer since he was 3 years old he learned alot from his father the great tanoura dance master in Egypt and the member of reda group HAKIM.

His father built something inside him so strange, love for the dance, love for tanoura. He started his career as a professional tanoura teacher then became the youngest tanoura teacher all over the world.

Mokhtar also toured around chinese cities showing all chinese people the beauty of this dance, and was responsible for all artistic shows in the Egyptian embassy in china's tourism office. Mokhtar is now performing every night at Al Hadheerah restaurant Bab El Shams desert resort and spa.
