Sawt al Shams is a quartet band based in the UAE

Nadia Stelmakh is originally from Ukraine, currently based in the United Arab Emirates. She is the head of the String Quartet " Sawt al-Shams".

Nadia Stelmakh was inspired at an early age by music around her and great classical musicians and composers. She started playing the violin at seven years old and didn't stop ever since.

Graduated with a Master's Degree in Ukrainian National Music Academy; Nadia worked as a former artist of Philharmonic Orchestra, chamber orchestra, folk ensemble before pursuing her career as a Solo Violinist traveling around Europe.

Her live performances fulfilled with passion, high energy, and positive vibes. Nadia offers variety and colors of sound, providing a sense of happiness and celebration; the musical atmosphere makes you plunged into a world of utter beauty and uniqueness.

Nadia's repertoire consists of a broad range of musical periods and styles; from classical to pop, jazz, blues, covers popular 20th, Arabic, contemporary romantic, upbeat songs and compositions.

As a professional musician, Nadia's time is fully dedicated to music. Nadia spends her time performing, practicing, collaborating with other musicians and art companies as well as teaching her students. She loves to participate in enlarging the musical culture in the UAE and inspiring as many kids as she can to join this amazing musical journey.
