Biography
Rula Zaki is a renowned singer from Cairo, Egypt. Her professional and international award – winning career makes her one of the most prominent elite female singers in Egypt and a premier in her field.
Rula started singing at the age of 9 when her mother discovered her talent and sent her to be professionally trained by the famous opera singer Dr. Raouf Zidan who adopted Rula’s talent. At the age of 12, Rula attended Crane Youth Music School in New York, USA where she received the Most Outstanding Vocalist award. Rula performed in many musicals and events during her school life at the Cairo American College where she starred in the musical “My Fair Lady”. She was the youngest soprano soloist at the Cairo Opera House and the Cairo Choral Society.
Her talent and reputation earned her 7 scholarships from highly reputable music schools in the United States. She joined the conservatory of music at Lawerence University in Wisconsin, USA where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance.

Rula was chosen by Disney, USA to be the voice of Cinderella and Little Mermaid in Disney’s Arabic versions of the movies and series.
Her album “Zekrayati” was number 1 best seller at Virgin Megastores for 6 weeks and her second album “Ha3eesh” was also a best seller for 2 weeks. Rula’s song “Albi Da2” was on top of the FM chart for 6 weeks.
