I’m a self-taught vocalist and songwriter, recording artist, collaborator & VO talent. I have founded both bands I am currently managing: "April" and "Vibes". I also front the Opeth tribute project "Heritage". I started singing as of the young age of 9 performing throughout my school years at
theatres. With my bands, I have 14 years of performance experience under my belt, across my home country (Lebanon) in all sorts of events and festivals and Local TV, as well as in Dubai, Alexandria and Los Angeles, CA. There in the USA, I won the Akademia Music Award for Best Rock EP in 2018 & performed across Hollywood prominently at The Viper Room.

I am the first female vocalist in the Middle-East to sing Progressive Rock/ Metal covers & originals & the only female vocalist to participate in the first & only edition of W:O:A Metal Battle | Wacken Open Air in Beirut in 2015 and later on in Hollywood in 2018.

I was a crew member of many event/festival organizations – the likes of Forestronika, the Electronic Festival and as the House Manager/Talent Coordinator at Haven for Artists - which expanded my musical knowledge in manners beyond singing. I have been personally requested to join the 2018 Lightning in a Bottle Festival Team in California based on the experience that I’ve acquired from past festivals and events.

Vibes (2014 - present) Recently relocated to Dubai, Vibes is a live entertainment music project founded in Beirut, Lebanon in January of 2014 by its female front & lead singer Akademia Award-Winning Artist Rachelle Bassili. Performing nationwide, Vibes acts as a duo, trio or more depending on the set, to render all-time favorite songs from Pop, Rock, Dance styles, new and classic and popular singalongs in all kinds of venues, public, private events and street/art/annual festivals.
Vibes’ strength is in customizing playlists & appearances for every occasion and per requirement, making performances a unique live experience.

April (2010 - present) is a Symphonic Progressive Rock/Metal band that got its name after my own artist name. The band started performing since 2010 in many venues across Lebanon such as the Safadi Cultural Centre & Metro Al Madina. I personally made an appearance in Dubai on March 30, 2012 at the "Lounge Acoustica" event by Rock Nation UAE at the Garden Rooftop Wafi. In October 2012, the band adopted a new formation with which, throughout 2013, April threw successful events (with an audience turnout of 200+ in private venues and thousands in public festivals) in Quadrangle Pub, EM Chill, Malaga Pub and Mojo Crew Club and has participated in both Amadeus Awad's First Year Anniversary of Time of the Equinox and Release Event of Schizanimus.

The band also took part of the Beirut on the Ground Festival alongside more than 10 of the best Local acts on August 24 at the Event Hill – Dbayeh to raise awareness on the issues of cancer and rock/underground music and arts in Lebanon and at the AUB's annual fundraiser "One Beat One Chance" alongside Michel Rebeiz and his students and Michel Nassar on November 30.

April appeared twice on "Bi Beirut" show on LBC Sat, once in June and once in October, wherein the second one an exclusive interview was made with the vocalist about the band.
In 2014, the band made a comeback on May 22nd for two events at the AUB Outdoors and "Shangri-La, A Dire Straits Tribute" at Animal City.
April was hosted on 2famous.tv's show at Radio Beirut, on June 6, 2014 and performed at Fete De La Musique, on June 21st, 2014 at the Beirut Souks Stage (and in 2015 at Youssef el Rami stage) and at Forestronika Festival 7th Edition - Life in Flowmotion 2014 on August 8th.

On September 27th, 2014, the band performed a Porcupine Tree/Tool tribute as part of a Prog Night event at Animal City, Zikrit and then on October 11 made a groundbreaking performance at Forestronika Crew presents Fall for Sandance at Beach 37 - Rmeileh.

April has been reviewed and mentioned by different Local media platforms such as Freakshow, TimeOut Beirut, Beirut Nightlife, Metal Bell Magazine and LebMetal.

The band has a playlist that combines Celtic with Symphonic Rock and Psychedelic Progressive Metal covering bands as Blackmore's Night, Dream Theatre, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Opeth and so on. Towards the end of 2013, April released their home-recorded rendition of Porcupine Tree's "Open Car"; it had both a national and international reach (due to ReverbNation). In December 2013, 'April' retreated to work on the composition and recording of their debut album. A teaser of "Ephemeral", first track of the Ep was released on May the 28th, 2014. The EP 'Archives of the Mind' was released on February the 13th, 2015 at Metro Al Madina. April then participated in Beirut Open Stage's Second Wave event on February the 21st at the Grand Factory and competed in W:O:A the Metal Battle Middle-East on April, 4th. In summer 2015, April headlined the New Blood concert by Metal Bell at Metro Al Madina and participated in Summer Fusion festival by Rockring.

April made an appearance in January 2018 at the Kibitz Room jamming with some of the most renowned old school American Rock artists like Jay Gore, Dan Rothschild, Dan Potruch and Jordan Summers.

April has collaborated with American artists of various genres. Composing and recording songs for Rock/Metal projects like “Oceans of the Night”. I have made an appearance with “Event Horizon” at the WOA Metal Battle at the end of March, 2018 at The Viper Room after which a series of performances took place with the band across Los Angeles and Long Beach till October 2018.

Upon my return to Beirut, April got invited in December 2018 to perform at the TED talks #tedxhamrasalon for their “Building thriving workspace” event, playing April’s originals, we were pleased to be part of this fully booked salon/community/network.

In May 2021, I performed with Egyptian band "Riverwood" at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria.

In October 2022, April made a massive comeback after a 6 year hiatus off stage, performing the first EP and iconic renditions at Metro al Madina and The Quadrangle. On April the 13th of 2023, April released their new hit 'Tales That Can't Describe' on all platforms which received regional and International recognition. The band then organized a big local concert at the prominent Aresco The Palace called 'October Reveries' on October the 6th and are now recording their new LP 'Conversations with Time' with new single 'Moon Whisperer' to be released in November 2023.
