Born and raised in Egypt, Mayan Fawaz (DJ Mayounah) is one of Egypt’s first homegrown female DJ talents. Having had an appreciation for quality house music and a keen eye for tracks that inspire people and fill dance floors, Fawaz decided to pursue a career in DJing after having been inspired by Dubfire (one part of the then DJ duo Deep Dish) during her stay in Washington, DC 2005/ 2006
