SIEMPRE FUEGO TANGO

We are Maya and Pedro tango argentino couple based in Tenerife, Spain. We are dancers with a solid background and experience on the dance floor. After 15 years of separate careers a great passion for the tango made our paths meet.We have created a unique tango show in which the saxophonist unexpectedly turns into dancer.

MAYA

Maja Chalejew as a dancer achieved many titles including top international champions class and professional dance teacher diploma in ballroom dancing. She has degree in Academy of Sports Education – Dance faculty, therefore she spent 5 years for education in multiple areas of dance art. Now, with over 15 years of experience she has decided to develop her way of expression and focus on tango argentino.

PEDRO

A talented saxophonist and composer. Graduated Wroclaw Academy of Jazz. Had played his first tango arrangments of Piazzolla music over 10 years ago. Since than he had been developing his repertoire and original sound in various tango nuevo, jazz and pop bands. Music led him to dance as a new way of expression. Mastered his style in tango argentino with world renowned maestros from Argentina. Works as a tango instructor and performer.
