Abu Dhabi based DJ/Producer Mark Evans is an artist with a wealth of house music experience and a stream of commendable accomplishments to boot. In a career spanning back to the nineties, Mark’s prominence as part of the duo MONKEYE has seen him touch many corners of the globe, including Europe, Australia and the middle east.

Mark is currently a resident DJ at Cove Beach Abu Dhabi and Yas Beach Club.

Inspired by Mark Knight, Marshall Jefferson, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, Patrick Topping, Sonny Fodera, Riva Starr, DJ EZ and many others, Mark’s sonic persona revolves around forward-thinking House and Tech House with an authentic feel.

The SHAPESHIFT Records frontman has releases on credible labels, with Toolroom Records, HoTL, Criminal Hype, Vamos Music, Zulu Records, Whore House Records and Plain & Simple Records offering a home for his work. His work has seen frequent support from some of the industry’s leading names, including Mark Knight, Judge Jules, David Tort, Kryder, Joel Corry, Robbie Rivera, Leftwing:Kody, Tom Novy and Nic Fanciulli being just some of his finest advocates.

Since 2020, his label SHAPESHIFT Records has provided a platform to showcase deserving artists. Running the imprint with MONKEYE cohort Matt Jones, SHAPESHIFT strives for the highest standards for all its artists’ signings; this includes support, publicity and exposure for their releases, as well as admirable chart positions and streaming figures regularly.

Mark’s music career has seen many highlights to date. From streaming to stores, radio plays to guest mixes - his resume continues to acquire accolades at an exponential rate. Mark also has a combined Spotify playlist reach of over 2 million users and multiple top 100 placements in House, Tech House, Progressive House and Jackin’ House genres on Beatport.
