Biography

Joanna Filus-Olenkiewicz, geboren in Bielsko-Biała, lebt seit 2010 in Berlin. Als Musikliebhaberin arbeitet sie als Geigerin und Bratschistin. Absolventin der Musikakademien in Kattowitz, Krakau, Danzig und der Universität Stettin in Polen, der Universität der Künste in Graz, Österreich und der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock und der Universität in Potsdam. Sie ist Finalistin und Preisträgerin zahlreicher internationaler Solo- und Kammermusikwettbewerbe, unter anderem mit dem Duo de Soleil.

2000 Stipendium des Bürgermeisters von Bielsko-Biała, 2001 der California Southern University in Los Angeles und 2021 der Künstlervereinigung ZAiKS in Warschau. Sie konzertierte als Konzertmeisterin und Tuttistin mit vielen verschiedenen Orchestern (z. B. Staatstheater Kassel, Radio – Sinfonieorchester). Berlin, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Symphonieorchester Münster, Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg, Hofer Symphoniker, Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, Berliner Symphoniker, Philharmonisches Orchester Wernigerode, Polish National Radio Orchestra in Katowice). Sie konzertiert auch als Kammermusikerin und Solistin. Sie hat an vielen Rundfunkaufnahmen mitgewirkt, z.B. mit dem Polnischen Nationalen Rundfunkorchester in Katowice, dem Berliner Rundfunkorchester und nahm an zahlreichen Konzerttourneen weltweit teil. Joanna Filus-Olenkiewicz ist Bratschenassistentin beim Young Talent Course in Toyohashi, Japan. Seit 2012 ist sie eng mit der Musikschule in Reinickendorf in Berlin verbunden, wo sie Violine und Viola unterrichtet. Seit einigen Jahren arbeitet er mit dem Komponisten Karol Borsuk, dem Schöpfer zeitgenössischer Musik, zusammen. Seine Werke werden uraufgeführt und durch Aufnahmen und öffentliche Aufführungen sowie Musikpublikationen verbreitet.

Als Mitglied der Internationale Beethoven Gesellschaft Berlin arbeitet Joanna aktiv an der Organisation des von der IBG ins Leben gerufenen Wettbewerbs Young Ludwig Young Music Competition. Joanna ist außerdem ein aktives Mitglied des Europäischen Forums für Polnische Musik in Berlin.

Sie organisiert Musikprojekte und Konzerte, bei denen verschiedene Künstler unter dem Namen Filus Music Moments zusammenarbeiten

Darüber hinaus beschäftigt sie sich mit Sonderpädagogik für Menschen mit geistiger und Sehbehinderung und hilft als Mediatorin und Kommunikationstrainerin bei der Lösung von Konflikten – an der Bussines Trends Academy in Berlin.
