Growing up with a diverse diet of music provided by their parents’ record collection, DAK is hard to pin down musically.

Inspired by their family’s love of music, DAK started playing drums at the age of 13. It was only a few years later that DAK discovered the nightlife scene in Dubai and the beautiful rhythms of progressive house. DAK sold his drum set and purchased the Hercules DJ Control Air and began performing at local house parties, basements, and private warehouses.

On the 15th of October 2015, DAK was chosen as one of the top 8 DJs for the Red Bull Thre3Style University competition. The event took place on the 22nd of October at White Dubai. Competing against the top 8 DJs, DAK won second place.
