Requirements
- STAGE MAGIC SHOW
- **Performance Duration:** 30–45 minutes, depending on event requirements.
- **Stage:** A clean, stable performance area with sufficient space for the artist to move comfortably and safely. Recommended minimum stage size: approximately 4m x 3m. Larger illusion productions may require additional stage space and will be coordinated in advance.
- **Sound:** Professional PA system suitable for the venue and audience size. One wireless headset or lapel microphone is preferred. The sound system must have the ability to play show music from a supplied audio device or files.
- **Lighting:** General professional stage lighting with clear illumination of the performance area. Adjustable lighting is preferred for theatrical performances. Any additional lighting requirements for larger illusion productions will be discussed in advance.
- **Audio / AV:** Access to the venue sound system for pre-recorded music and sound cues. For performances involving visual content, access to an LED screen or projection system may be requested depending on the show format.
- **Sound Check / Setup:** Access to the performance area before the event for setup, technical checks and sound check. Approximately 30–60 minutes is recommended for a standard stage show. Larger illusion productions require additional setup time.
- **Backstage / Dressing Room:** A private and secure changing or preparation area close to the performance space, with access to drinking water.
- **Audience:** The performance area should have clear visibility for the audience. For interactive stage performances, sufficient access between the stage and audience is recommended to allow audience participation.
- **Additional Requirements:** The performance area and immediate backstage area should remain secure before the show. Performance props and equipment should not be handled or moved by unauthorized personnel.
- CLOSE-UP / WALK-AROUND MAGIC
- **Performance Duration:** Typically 1–3 hours, depending on the event format and number of guests.
- **Performance Area:** No dedicated stage is required. The magician performs directly among guests at tables, cocktail receptions, networking events or standing gatherings.
- **Technical Requirements:** No sound, lighting or AV equipment is normally required.
- **Environment:** Adequate ambient lighting is required to ensure guests can clearly see the magic. Extremely loud environments may affect guest interaction and should be avoided where possible.
- **Preparation Area:** A small, private and secure area is requested for preparation and storage of personal belongings and performance materials.
- **Breaks:** For extended walk-around bookings, short scheduled breaks may be required.
- LARGE-SCALE ILLUSION SHOW
- Technical requirements for full illusion productions vary depending on the selected show format, venue and illusions included.
- Requirements may include a larger performance stage, backstage wings, professional sound and lighting systems, stage crew, controlled stage access and sufficient setup and rehearsal time.
- A detailed technical rider will be provided following confirmation of the venue and selected production.
- All large-scale illusion performances are subject to a technical assessment of the venue prior to final confirmation.
