As a young man, Arindam has lived up to the words and reputations of his Guru mastering the intricacies of Tabla as a Soloist as well as an Accompanist. Honoured with the title of “Taal Mani”, from Mumbai Arindam Chakravarty is an empanelled Artiste of ICCR (Indian Council For Cultural Relations) in the established Artiste Category and EZCC ( Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre), Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of India,he has got National Outstanding Award for Tabla "Gana Yogi Panchakshiri Kala Vikas Puraskar 2015" in Bhimsen Sangeet Utsav, A regular All India Radio and Television Artiste, A recipient of Award Council Of India’s prestigious “Sangeet Gaurav-Pride of West Bengal” samman, An empanelled Artiste of Regional Outreach Bureau from Ministry of Information & Broadcasting-Govt. Of India,A Senior National Scholar from Ministry of Culture, New Delhi as well as “Sangeet Bhaskar” in Tabla achieving 1st Division marks from Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh.

Arindam is the 1st ever Tabla Player from India to have performed at WAG Festival in Sarawak, Kuching in 2013.
